Origami Bento Bag

Don’t you think?

Luckily our nearest farmers market in Winchester is one of the biggest in the UK… so plenty of good produce to fill my beautiful new bag with. If only I had pictures of this bag in use at the farmers market with a lovely loaf of break peeking out the top. You’ll just have to use your imagination instead. Way too much forward planning!

I used some of the fat quarters in the October Box to make the bag using this tutorial.

The tutorial is really easy to follow. It uses french seams so that everything is nice and tidy on the inside. There’s the option to make box corners at the end and it shows you how to make a handle, but you could leave the handle off and tie the ends together – which I think would be perfect for storing a knitting project or to use as a laundry bag when you go away.

Considering the theme was Autumn Bliss I’m also thinking I should put a flask of hot chocolate and some home made cookies in this bag, get my welly boots on and head out for a walk in the New Forest. Now that would be bliss.

What would you use this bag for?
