I am totally in love with these boxes! As someone who went from thinking I would never wear animal print to wearing a leopard print top so much it actually fell apart I have fully embraced the design!

I think you can go as bold or as subtle as you like with animal print and these boxes are proof of that. They started life when I saw the new drop of stunning prints from Fabric Godmother, let me tell you it was a really tough choice and could happily have chosen a number of designs for the next few months.

But the one that really caught my eye was what we have in this months Luxury boxes…

Luxury Box

This “Like A Zebra” viscose jacquard from Fabric Godmother is just incredible, the colours are vibrant whilst the print isn’t so bold it feels scary to wear. It has a delicate satin spot pattern all over which really catches the light and is just so beautiful.

I’ve paired it with the Anaé dress and top pattern from Atelier Scämmit which is a lovely simple design that will let the fabric absolutely shine!

This month the Luxury and Classic boxes also come with 1m of a beautiful black and white giraffe print viscose poplin. The monochrome colours makes it really easy to colour block with other fabrics to make a gorgeously unique garment or on it’s own will make a stunning floaty top.

Classic and Mini Boxes

I love the vibrant colours of these cotton poplins, the boxes came with either pink or teal leopard print poplin which is actually quite a subtle print thanks to keeping the colours simple and the print quite small scale. Absolutely perfect for a classic shirt with a twist I can’t wait to see what gets made with these fabrics.

The Classic and Luxury boxes also received a handy A6 notepad from Lucy Says I Do in 4 different animal prints. These little pads are perfect for noting down any extra sewing supplies you need for a project, or adding any fit adjustments you made to a pattern to keep inside the pattern envelope.

To finish off these beautiful boxes that Katy Perry would be proud of, each one also came with 2m of leopard print grosgrain ribbon, 100m Sew-All Gutermann thread and our amazing inspiration-filled magazine.
