Well, what a treat this is! I feel very lucky to have the chance to write one of the ‘Three Fabrics, Three Makes’ articles in the last SewHayleyJane box.
The sun is shining, the flowers are in full bloom, and that can only mean one thing — it’s time for warm weather sewing!
When I saw the luxury fabric this month, I literally squealed in delight. The print is absolutely stunning, and it’s on my favourite base cloth. The stars aligned and it was love at first sight!
Tartan check prints are always funny to work with, as you have to consider stripe matching with whatever you have decided to make.

Last months boxes were pink, girly and all things pretty… this month the boxes are rebelling and turning to all things punk, grunge and a little bit Vivienne Westwood inspired.
