Spring has sprung, with the longer days, wonderful flowers and unpredictable weather, I’m excited for what is to come – long warm days. That being said, I can’t stand the extreme heat that is summer. What better way to prepare than lightweight cotton garments?
Now that we are finally on the lookout for some warmer weather, all I have been thinking about making is cute summer dresses.
The delicate drape of the viscose crepe in March’s Classic Box made the perfect Tilly and the Buttons Marnie blouse.
Laura made a statement with this months Luxury Box brushed cotton tartan and made the Closet Core Patterns Blanca Flight Suit.
The cotton poplin from February’s Classic Box works so well at holding the puff sleeves of the Anna Allen Anthea Blouse that Esther made this month.
Gemma had the Luxury fabric this month, a gorgeous Roo-Tid Lenzing Ecovero Viscose “Breeze” and used it to make a Nina Lee Carmel Jumpsuit.
With this months Classic Box leopard pointelle fabric Laura made a Tilly and the Buttons Nora Top.
I love reading, but as things get busier towards the end of the year, I really struggle to make time for it. So I always start the new year with a promise to myself to make more time for relaxation…
