My inspiration this month came from a ready to wear garment I happened to stumble upon, and then couldn’t stop seeing everywhere.

There’s just something about this month’s poplin that has my heart, it may have to do with the light pink colour or the lovely black shapes, it may also just be the weight of the fabric. But if I’m to guess, I’ll say it’s all three of them.
Now that the boxes have changed to having a 1m piece of fabric instead of Fat Quarters, there are lots more opportunities to get creative with garments that you can make with smaller amounts.
After saying last month that I need more comfy trousers in my wardrobe, here I am again making another dress. Oh well!
Spooky season is upon us and I love a Halloween inspired movie – perfect for snuggling up with a warm blanket and hot chocolate on those cold, autumnal evenings.
I love that this month’s box has both pink and plain fabric. I’m enjoying all the Barbie pinks of late so glad to have an excuse to make a pink garment.

The weather has been beautifully warm these past few days which got me thinking about Summer and the clothes I’d like to wear as it gets warmer.
Is it finally time for dresses yet?? Spring keeps playing with us and giving glimmers of hope. I’m tired of wearing so many layers and just really looking forward to being able to throw on a dress and go!
