As another wonderful series of The Great British Sewing Bee has recently come to end, and a previous Bee has contributed the luxury fabric to this August’s box, it seemed the perfect opportunity to take a look back and see what some of the previous contestants are up to now.
I started SewHayleyJane because I believe in helping and inspiring sewists’ creativity and one thing many struggle with, me included, is jeans making – so as part of my mission I have decided to give away 4 tickets to a jeans making weekend masterclass with none other than winner of the Great British Sewing Bee, Charlotte Newland!
Every month I get to chat to one of my lovely subscribers to find out more about them and their sewing journey. This month I caught up with Lindsay (@sewlottiesew)
February’s top make came from Alissa (@byalissa) who used December’s shimmer viscose to make a stunning McCall’s M8146 Myrtel.
Each month I get to find out more about my amazing subscribers, Sophie (@soph_root) has been subscribed to the Luxury Box since December 2020.
January’s Make Of The Month came from Sam (@sams_sewing74) who used her fat quarters from previous boxes to make an incredible quilted Megan Nielsen Hovea Jacket.
Each month I get to find out more about one of my amazing subscribers, Ruan (@yorkshiresewgirl) has been subscribed to the Classic Box since June 2020
Novembers top make came from Corrine who used the black and orange geometric viscose from Septembers “Measure Twice, Cut Once” box to make a Tilly and the Buttons Lyra dress
