What do you do when you have made so many versions of your current favourite wardrobe staple sewing pattern? Well, you look to see how you can hack it of course!
If there is something lacking in my wardrobe, it is comfy pants. You know the type – working from home, zoom call trousers. Simple chuck-on bottoms when you’re not in the mood to wear jeans.
It’s September! That back to school, early autumn time of year. The Pumpkin Spice is out, the boots are on and the blankets are ready!
I didn’t intend for this month to be Barbie inspired (who am I kidding, I totally was hoping it would!) but by happy coincidence the fabric this month was perfect for it!
The “Pastel Funfetti” fat quarters in August’s SHJ box just screams celebration and make the perfect reusable bunting for any happy occasion – birthdays, garden parties, weddings… Saturday! To make this bunting a little different from the usual we have created a pretty scalloped shape.
I am all about the soft girl summer aesthetic. Beautiful fabrics, dreamy desaturated colours and soft silhouettes.
I love that this month’s box has both pink and plain fabric. I’m enjoying all the Barbie pinks of late so glad to have an excuse to make a pink garment.
If you, like me, are more likely to be found enjoying a lazy picnic by the river with a good book and a straw hat than rocking a bikini by the pool after a late night partying in Ibiza then this is the box for you!
Well, isn’t this just a match in collaboration heaven?! Tilly could not have picked a more gorgeous fabric for the Classic and Mini boxes.
