Whilst September may be the month we all start thinking about those back to school vibes I’m keeping things very sweet over here with this months stunning boxes!
Esther received August’s Classic Box and with it the gold spot double gauze. She used her 2.5m to make a Sabina Skirt, a free pattern from The Little Pomegranate
With the double gauze from August’s Mini box Gemma made a cute little cropped tie vest using a Mimi G for Simplicity pattern S8927.
With the beautiful Art Gallery Fabrics Mosaico Pompei cotton from Augusts Luxury SewHayleyJane Box Laura made the new Kinfolk Dress pattern from Jennifer Lauren Handmade
A lanyard is one of those practical items that everyone can find a use for – whether it’s to hold your work pass, your keys or even your snips while you’re sewing!
The theme for August’s boxes actually came from a couple of different places that just worked together beautifully. I had my eye on the “Abstract Jungle” fat quarters from Craft Cotton Company for a while and was waiting for the perfect theme to tie in with them.
Tis the season for floaty cami tops and Esther has made the perfect one out of July’s Mini Box viscose – the Sew Over It Silk Cami.
Shirring is definitely having a moment right now so Laura decided to give this trend a go with July’s Classic Box viscose and made a Victory Patterns Sofia Dress.
emma thought it was the perfect pattern to pair with July’s Luxury Box fabric. Sadly we couldn’t get hold of our exclusive Lady McElroy fabric in time so Gemma used the original colour way of “Indie Rock” florenza crepe.
