I am writing this currently wearing a big jumper, I am still firmly holding out for some nice, warm weather to get my gams out! That means all I want to make are cute twirly dresses.
Spring has sprung, with the longer days, wonderful flowers and unpredictable weather, I’m excited for what is to come – long warm days. That being said, I can’t stand the extreme heat that is summer. What better way to prepare than lightweight cotton garments?

This box has been one of those that has been a long time in the making, and it all started with the Lise Tailor “Tea Time” viscose that went into the Luxury Boxes this month.

Double gauze is such an interesting fabric, the texture and weight lends itself to being good for so many garments, and this watermelon print is so fun, I wanted to make something that was equally cool!

Seeing what I can make with 1m fabric is always an exciting challenge. I was so excited to see a knit fabric in this month’s box. I absolutely love the fabric, it has great recovery and maintains its beauty when stretched.
