Good For The Soul
Over the last few weeks a friend and I have been making sure to spend some time at the weekend doing things that just bring joy, fill your cup and are good for the soul.
The saying “A Sunday well spent brings a week of content” is often in my mind and I have tried to encompass this in Novembers boxes as we start to ramp up to what can be a busy and stressful time of the year. Plus with the winter bugs being extra rife this year (currently nursing a cold) it really is important to look after yourself.
So without further ado, lets take a look at the gorgeous goodies inside Novembers boxes.
Luxury Box
I spotted this fabric a few months ago and knew I had to have it in the boxes. It is a psychedelic tie dye cotton jersey and is just incredible. It was a bit of a mission to get it to fit inside the boxes but it was well worth the muscle power, it’s fabulous and goes perfectly with the new pattern from My Handmade Wardrobe the “3 by 3 Tees” to give you amazing comfort all day long.
I also think this fabric would work well as a pair of comfy pjs or even leggings for gentle exercises like yoga.
Inside the Luxury and Classic boxes we are also welcoming back the incredibly talented Jo Want from Hello Sunshine who created the perfect illustration for the theme. Not only that, she even took inspiration from the fabric to include in the design and I think it is perfect.
Classic and Mini Boxes
Yes we have gone full on comfort with jersey all around this month with the Classic and Mini boxes featuring one of four different colourways of this beautiful viscose jersey with a big bold but not in-your-face floral print, perfect for comfy t-shirts or wrap dressed.
These fat quarters “Yoga Wellness” by Craft Cotton Co were the absolute perfect fit for this months boxes, they are so calming and will make some great Christmas gifts for any yoga enthusiasts.
Finally, I don’t know about you but I never seem to have any new jersey or ballpoint machine needles when I come to sew with jersey so of course I had to include them along with the 100m reel of Gutermann thread.
