Out Of This World

Well the first box of 2022 really is out of this world and I am over the moon to be adding a little stardust to your January!

Ok, enough puns for now. I really am so in love with this months boxes that were all inspired by the gorgeous collection of fat quarters from Craft Cotton Co also named Out Of This World. They feature beautiful blue, pink and purple galaxy prints with a little bit of gold in there too. This box was an easy one to put together as all the elements just worked like a dream. So lets take a look.

Luxury Box

This months Luxury fabric is a completely stunning cotton jersey with a white and silver metallic print featuring stars, moons, planets, constellations and everything else on a navy blue background. A cotton jersey is such a great fabric for so many different projects but I have teamed it up this month with the Billie dress and top pattern from Tilly and the Buttons. Whilst technically a pattern for thicker sweatshirt fabrics I think it’ll look amazing in a slightly lighter weight fabric which means it’ll still be comfortable in the spring.

Classic and Mini Boxes

We have three different colour/prints inside this months Classic and Mini boxes. All a fabulous double gauze we have a navy blue with gold metallic sun print, a navy blue with silver metallic lightening print and a pale blue with gold metallic sun prints. All equally stunning and soft.

This month we welcome back the lovely Louise from Ethel and Joan who created these beautiful metallic cat eye buckles in resin. Perfect for a hand made fabric belt to perfectly finish a dress!

As well as all that every box also contains a handy tailors chalk, a 100m reel of Gutermann thread and of course the SHJ magazine bursting with inspiration.
