I have been soooo excited to bring you these amazing boxes curated by The Fold Line!
Back in January I got together with Kate and Rachel to, obviously chat sewing, but also work out a way we could collaborate and work together. We bonded over cheese and after coming up with a few ideas we settled on a Fold Line curated box in July. They decided on a theme and picked the fabrics and pattern.
They also got in contact with Jacqueline Colley who they met at the Mollie Makes awards. Jacqueline is an illustrator and pattern designer who set to creating us an exclusive print to fit the theme – Palm Springs!!! The Matchbox Motel print was based on a design she already had but of course we “stitched it up” a bit by substituting the matchsticks for sewing pins and added other amazing sewing bits to the design too. I am in love with the finished design and can’t wait to get a frame and to add it to my sewing gallery wall!
Ok, time to dive into the boxes, get your sunhat on and a piña colada in your hand because these boxes are seriously hot!!
The Luxury box comes with 3.5m of this stunning flamingo and leaf print viscose lawn. The quality is so gorgeous, it has the fluid drape of a viscose but is slightly weightier making it totally perfect for all kinds of dresses, tops, skirts or jumpsuits!
To go alongside this fabric Kate and Rachel chose the Myosotis dress from Deer & Doe. The more I see this dress on Instagram the more I love it so I’m excited to get this one made up for myself too. The dress is an oversized shirt dress with a gathered skirt and the option of adding ruffles to the sleeves and/or hem.
Aren’t the colours in this box just gorgeous?!
Mini and Classic Box
As well as two meters of ribbon in either a palm or watermelon print and the Gutermann thread each box also has a selection of gorgeous Fat Quarters from Craft Cotton Co, featuring leaf and bird prints – there’s a lot of flamingos in this box!!
We didn’t stop there with the flamingo love either, the Classic and Mini boxes each have a length of this beautiful cotton poplin in one of my favourite shades of blue, so vibrant! Perfect for a cute little pair of shorts to see you through the heat or a sleeveless shirtdress perhaps?

Oh… I almost forgot. Although there were none left for taking these pictures, the edible treat this month was a scrummy Bounty bar!
