Pyjama Party
This box has been in pipeline since the beginning of summer. I got so excited at the thought of creating a box with snuggly double gauze fabric but just knew it would be better to wait until the cold weather sets in and we are all excited to cozy up under blankets with hot chocolate and a movie.
But I cracked on with getting it planned because I knew I wanted an amazing illustration to go along with these boxes and knew exactly the person I wanted to do it. I got in touch with Jo Want from Hello Sunshine who does the most gorgeous custom portraits alongside other fab products too. Luckily she said yes and set to creating this amazing pyjama party illustration, another exclusive to the Sew Hayley Jane Boxes.
Whilst I could gush about these prints all day long (I mean who doesn’t want to be invited to that party?) I’ll stop for now and show you the rest of these amazing boxes!
Luxury Boxes
I knew exactly the fabric that I wanted for the Luxury boxes and had a hunt around to find the right one. I love the autumnal feel of these two double gauze colourways, one in wine and one in mustard and both with an extra touch of glamour with little silver or gold metallic dots.
Pair the double gauze with this months pattern, the Piccadilly Pyjamas from Nina Lee for the most glamorous nightwear ever!
Classic and Mini Boxes
For the Classic and Mini boxes I found this beautiful powder blue double gauze with dandelion seed head print. I’m wearing a Tilly and the Buttons Indigo dress from this as I type, definitely a secret pyjama outfit!
A lot of pyjama patterns, including the Piccadilly pj’s require waistband elastic to ensure ultimate comfort and so I have included 1m of that in every box along with a reel of Gutermann thread to match the main fabric.
The fat quarters this month are these super cute “Dream A Little Dream” selection from Craft Cotton Company featuring sweet little animals and fire-flies.
Finally the sweet treat comes from the amazing company Kandylicious who makes, among other things, these fab little marshmallow lollipops dipped in candy melts and sprinkles.
I really hope you love these boxes as much as I do, I can’t wait to see what gets made with these goodies!
