Autumn Hues
This months box was a little nod to the very first box I sent out in October 2016… I can not believe I have been sending these boxes of joy for 4 years now! My first box was called Autumn Bliss and I think the boxes have come a really long way since then.
I am that total cliché who loves the autumn, the changing colours, the knit wear and everything else that goes with it so I was really excited to put these boxes together for you.
Luxury Box
The colours in these boxes are just so incredibly scrummy! There were two colourways of the beautiful Lady McElroy Dotty About Dots viscose inside the Luxury boxes, Cinnamon and Claret and I don’t think I can choose a favourite! They are so soft and drape beautifully, I am excited to see what gets made with these.
To go alongside these gorgeous fabrics, the pattern this month comes from Charlotte and Clare of Emporia Patterns. The Kobi dress is a fairly simple design that packs a punch. Made in these beautiful fabrics and paired with tights and boots for a classic autumn look.
Classic and Mini Boxes
More gorgeous colours!! Honestly, I love them all so much. The Mini and Classic boxes each have a length of beautiful flower print double gauze in copper, mustard or forest green and they are so soft, snuggly yet lightweight at the same time.
And what about those fat quarters? From Craft Cotton Company these Japanese inspired prints in beautifully rich colours with gold metallic accents are so stunning. They are a little thicker and wider than your average fat quarter so perfect for making bags, pouches, wallets etc.
I also discovered Lauren from Glitter Magic this month who creates adorable kawaii illustrations on pin badges, stationery, stickers and loads more. These sweet little “Autumn Vibes” button badges were just the ticket for this months boxes.
Inside the Classic and Luxury boxes are these beautiful little packs of agoya (shell) buttons from The Button Company, each matchbook has around 18 of these little beauties inside.
Of course no box is complete without the matching reel of Gutermann thread and the sweet treat this month is probably bringing a little bit of nostalgia with it in the form of Werther’s Originals caramels. Yum!
