Oh my goodness, I am sat typing this with the window open, sun streaming into the studio and the sound of a bird chirping in the tree outside… could spring finally be here?
So February… the month of love! Last year I did Galentines Day and I did the traditional Valentines day a couple of years before that. So what for this year? This year is all about showing yourself some love. These boxes are just for you after all, the gift you give yourself every month so I’m here to celebrate that with these beautiful boxes “To Me, Love Me”.
Well here we are, brand new year, brand new decade! Happy 2020 everyone, I hope you had a brilliant festive break and saw in the new year in more style than I did (asleep in bed by 11pm)!!
The past few years I’ve taken more of a novelty Christmas route for the December boxes but this year I’ve gone in a slightly different direction, opting for some seriously luxurious fabrics perfect for making a glamorous party outfit for the festive season.
This box has been in pipeline since the beginning of summer. I got so excited at the thought of creating a box with snuggly double gauze fabric but just knew it would be better to wait until the cold weather sets in and we are all excited to cozy up under blankets with hot chocolate and a movie.
Well this has been a very exciting box to put together. A few month ago I launched a competition on social media to “design a box”. I asked for theme ideas and the one that I loved the most would get that box as a prize.
I think September is possibly one of my favourite months of the year.
The air starts to get a little crisper, the leaves start to change colour and we are finally allowed to wear dresses with tights and boots again. Not only that, I also love the “back to school” feeling when shopping for new stationary or kit!
Although I’ve had this months theme set in my mind for a while now, I knew I’d got it right a couple of weeks ago when my sister surprised my mum and I with a trip to Highclere Castle.
