ar! I can’t quite believe it! It’s been quite the year for many of us and I wanted to make sure this box was full of colour and celebration… whether or not you are going out to celebrate or staying home and celebrating with those nearest to you I hope this box brings you joy!
Over the last few weeks a friend and I have been making sure to spend some time at the weekend doing things that just bring joy, fill your cup and are good for the soul.
Octobers boxes feel just a little bit special for a number of reasons, they mark SewHayleyJane’s 5 year anniversary, they are the first to go out from our brand spanking new studio and, I hadn’t actually realised until Bruna (packing extraordinaire) pointed out, the theme was incredibly apt!
When you close your eyes and picture the perfect lazy summer day what do you imagine? Lounging under a big oak tree with a picnic and a book? Picking ripe and juicy strawberries? Slowly drifting down stream in a little wooden boat?

If the last year has done anything good, it’s given a lot of us a real appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds us. So many people have relocated to the country in the last year, and with travel abroad not happening the “staycation” has been on the rise.
We are taking a walk on the wild side this months with all things animal and animal print and I am loving the mix of colours and prints inside this boxes!
What was your “lockdown project”? Baking sourdough bread? Perfecting your banana cake? Or, like me, gardening? I use the term gardening very loosely. Our garden has decking and fake grass but I have been enjoying planting up a few pots and watching them grow. I have even taken in a few houseplants in recent months and hope to turn from plant killer to plant mum!
These boxes are such a treat for the eyes! So much to see, gorgeous patterns, shapes and prints in every corner.
